Our standard workflows are:
- SDI (embedded audio) to uncompressed AVI or QuickTime from Digibeta or Beta
- HD SDI to uncompressed AVI or QuickTime from HDCAM
- S-Video (balanced audio) to uncompressed AVI from DVD or VHS
- Firewire to native format from DV and HDV
Most Uncompressed (YUV or RGB) captures are delivered via Hard Drive.
Compression
It is possible to digitize directly to a number of compression formats, including MPEG-2 Archival, H-264, ProRes, MotionJPEG and VC-1. Contact us for details. This is only possible for Standard Definition NTSC or PAL. HD content can only be digitized to uncompressed or losslessly compressed formats.
Enhancement
It is sometimes possible to deinterlace, inverse telecine, crop, resize and adjust gamma on capture, depending on the capture format and profile.
Delivery
- Files can be delivered via FTP or SFTP to our delivery servers or directly to your server.
- Larger files can be delivered via Data DVD.
- Very large files can be delivered via hard drive. Specify Mac or PC formatting.
